Osaka Auto Messe has a very different feel to Tokyo. The huge attendance demonstrates the aftermarket in the Kansai region is still strong, the attendees have a more hands-on approach and are not scared to get up close and personal.
The VIP, Kei, Wagons, Vans and Import scenes continue to grow, overshadowing the performance tuners in numbers and innovation. However, being in Osaka the Auto Messe is an opportunity for the tuners in the region to showcase their unique style and approach - we did our best to capture the highlights while fighting the crowds!
Osaka Auto Messe 2011 - Highlights
GT-R magazine had the generations on show, including an absolutely perfect R32 GTR.
Fresh from their win at Tokyo Auto Salon, Phoenix Power brought down their award winning R35 to give everyone in Osaka a taste of a GTR taken to the next level.
Pit Road M are a flexible workshop, building a range of cars including this amazing Mitsubishi GTO.
With a beautiful S14 Silvia also sporting their orange based colour scheme.
Car Shop EAU Rouge, a specialist Toyota Soarer workshop, had their impressive JZZ30 on display.
Waste Sports Mitsubishi Evo X one of many rolling on the latest Rays TE37 Superlaps.
Tokyo based Top Secret brought down their gold R35 GTR.

The Super Made S15 also made its way down to Osaka and proved it pulls the crowd wherever it goes.
Kansai Service is one of the biggest tuners in the Kansai region and are going from strength-to-strength with a huge selection of cars, hidden in the back was their street tuned Evo X - one of our favorites.
Based in nearby Kyoto Fujimura Auto had a range of cars on show, including nicely tuned Nissan R32, R34 GTR's, 370Z and 350Z.
NK Company are specialists in delivering a custom car designed to your particular tastes.
Osaka based Auto Active Garage Ito, specialist tuners and fabricators had a beautiful R34 on show thats sure to be pushing serious power levels.

Osaka Auto Messe also had more tuners and parts aimed at the reinvigorated nostalgic market. Work Wheels brought their entire range including the latest release Meister CR01 in 15" that looked stunning in matte carbon finish.
