The most memorable moment of the day - just after 3pm, the heavens opened and there was a mad scramble as many owners dashed for the exists. Keep reading for our first post covering the many nostalgics on show.

D1GP 2010 - Round 2 at Autopolis

D1GP Autopolis - Tsutomu S15 vs Takahashi JZX100
D1GP Autopolis - Suenaga FD3s vs Takahashi JZX100

The second round of the Japanese D1GP championship was held at the Autopolis International race track in Kyushu. Local to the Nengun offices in Fukuoka, we made the trip in the Nengun R35 GTR in record time on the Expressways and winding mountain roads for a great day with the best drifters in Japan.

The Autopolis circuit differs from many other drift events with an initial entry speed of 200km/h into the first corner which is too much for many. Orido's Supra was severely damaged in initial practice and could not compete. Suenaga in his FD3S RX7 ended up winning the day, our friend and hometown favourite Nomuken finished in a respectable 4th place.

New Shipping Insurance

Occasionally orders are damaged during transit and we have found the insurance claim process for carriers such as EMS and Fedex to be quite time consuming.

While not a frequent occurrence, it has typically taken the Japan Post and Fedex several months to process claims. This means you don't have a functional part until the carrier honours the claim enabling us to send out your replacement.

To address this, we are excited to launch a new feature on the Nengun Performance website enabling additional flexibility on insurance options during checkout.

We wonder if many of the attendees of Tokyo Auto Salon attend for the cars or the girls, with violent scrums around any girl standing near a car.

We managed to battle the crowds to take a few photos for the customary girls of Auto Salon post. Read More for the photos!
